SPACERACK Push Back Pallet Racking

SPACERACK’s Push Back Pallet Racking System is a high-density storage solution designed to optimise warehouse space utilisation while increasing accessibility to inventory.

The system consists of a series of nested carts that slide along inclined rails, allowing for multiple pallets to be stored in a single lane. When a pallet is loaded onto the front cart, it pushes back the pallets behind it, creating a dynamic “last in, first out” (LIFO) storage system.

The Push Back Pallet Racking System is proudly manufactured in Australia, using high-quality Australian steel. This ensures that the system is durable and long-lasting, able to withstand the harsh industrial environment and heavy loads commonly found in warehouses.

Compared to traditional selective pallet racking systems, the Push Back Pallet Racking System offers several advantages. Firstly, it increases storage density by up to 85 – 90%, as multiple pallets can be stored in a single lane, reducing the number of aisles required. This allows for greater use of available space and can lead to significant cost savings.

Secondly, the Push Back Pallet Racking System improves accessibility to inventory, as pallets can be easily accessed from the front of the system. This reduces the need for forklifts to enter the racking system, which can be time-consuming and pose a safety risk.

Thirdly, the Push Back Pallet Racking System is highly versatile, as it can be configured to store pallets of varying sizes and weights. This makes it ideal for warehouses with a diverse range of products and storage requirements.

Overall, SPACERACK’s Push Back Pallet Racking System is an excellent storage solution for businesses looking to increase storage capacity while maintaining accessibility to inventory. With its durable construction and versatile design, this system offers a reliable and cost-effective way to optimise warehouse space utilisation.

The Benefits of Push Back Pallet Racking

If you’re not sure which racking system is best suited for your needs, we can help – Give SPACERACK a call on 1800 814 123 and our racking system specialists can provide you a free warehouse storage design and quote.

There are several benefits to choosing an Push Back Pallet Racking system for your warehouse storage needs including:

Bulk Storage

Push Back Pallet Racking is an ideal storage system for the bulk storage of a single product line, consolidation of orders, and despatch. The design of SPACERACK’s Push Back Racking system allows for high density storage in an organised and consolidated manner.

Increased Storage Density

Push Back Racking is the ideal storage solution for bulk storage of palletised loads and can provide up to 90% more storage capacity within the same available floor space. With the ability to store up to 4 pallets in one line this is one of the best storage methods where there is a limited number of product lines involved and a high volume of pallets in each line.

LIFO Storage System

Push Back Pallet Racking is ideal for storing a large stock holding of fast-moving products with high pallet counts, or stock that is not subject to expiration or deterioration. LIFO systems work by positioning the most recently stored inventory to be picked first and enabling high storage density.

Versatile Storage Options

Push back pallet racking is a highly versatile storage option as it can be configured to store pallets of varying sizes and weights. This means that it can be customised to meet the specific storage requirements of different businesses and product lines. Unlike traditional selective pallet racking, which requires all pallets to be of the same size, push back pallet racking allows for a mixture of pallet sizes to be stored within a single lane. This is achieved by using nested carts that can be adjusted to accommodate different pallet dimensions.
